The Narara-Wyoming Junior Cricket Club is a long established club serving the Narara, North Gosford, Wyoming, Lisarow and Niagara Park areas of the NSW Central Coast. During most seasons NWJCC will have over 120 players participating in 10 teams from Super 8's through to Under 17's. In addition NWJCC runs an active Milo program for younger players.
The club's objective is to provide an enjoyable and supportive environment for players and officials. NWJCC will aim to be competitive in every contested grade whilst preserving the true spirit and traditions of the game. This is demonstrated by the fact that the NWJCC has been awarded the Ted Mead Trophy no less than eight times.
The "Ted Mead Trophy" is awarded to the "Most Co-operative and Involved Club". It is designed to acknowledge those clubs that have made an outstanding contribution to Junior Cricket in the district.
The following individuals have been recognised with life memberships for their substantial and longstanding contributions to the club:
Peter Martin, Ken Gardiner, Dave Beer, Greg Sadler, Robert Cross, John Moriarty Snr, Warren O’Brien, Ken Brookes, Greg Dean
NWJCC is actually a sub-committee of the Narara-Wyoming Cricket Club which was established over a hundred years ago in 1898. There is significant collaboration between our two committees, and we encourage young players to continue their cricket development by advancing into the ranks of the 'senior' half our club when their time as a junior player draws to a close.
